As the final push towards spring break approaches, here are some fun items to help you get through midterms!

Quarantine has brought the blessing of extra time to explore new products, recipes, podcasts and more. Though we’ve been ordered to stay at home for almost a year now, there are many things to make each day a little brighter. Here are some products to check out this month:

Facial Roller

Want to feel like you’re at a spa from the comfort of your own home? Hop on the facial roller train. This jade roller from Amazon is a great way to boost your daily self-care routine. After seeing them being promoted all over social media, it seems to be an effective facial treatment. Either way, it’ll definitely make you feel more productive when you start your morning.

“The Bible Recap” Podcast

If you’ve been on the hunt for a Bible reading plan, we’ve got you covered. “The Bible Recap” is a helpful guide to reading the Bible in chronological order. Not only does this tool provide you with the reading plan, which can be found on the Bible app, there is a daily podcast that highlights and summarizes what you’ve just read. This is a super engaging and motivating way to dig deeper into the Word.

Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Gnocchi

You may have heard of the famous Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Gnocchi as it’s been wildly circulating around social media over the last year. It didn’t take long to understand why this frozen dish is so popular. You may not want to follow the cooking instructions on the package though or your gnocchi will likely end up looking like an unappealing sticky mess. Instead, baking is the best way to obtain the perfect crispy texture. Topping it off with Trader Joe’s Kale, Cashew & Basil Pesto has turned an easy dinner into a 5-star favorite.

Reusable Straws

For avid smoothie and iced coffee drinkers, reusable straws can be a game changer. Lately, these silicone straws from Amazon have taken the lead. They come in a pack offering a variety of adorable colors, along with brushes for easy cleaning!

Lavender and Eucalyptus Candle

The candle of choice this month has been the Lavender and Eucalyptus one from Target. If you’re stuck inside all day doing school work you might as well make it cozy, right? This scent makes just about anything bearable and it’s also been a great way to kick off springtime.

Moroccan Oil Dry Shampoo

Out of the many dry shampoos out there, this one from Moroccan Oil is by far the best out there. It leaves your hair feeling soft and silky while looking fresh. It also blends into the hair really well without leaving behind all of that unwanted residue that comes with other dry shampoos. If you need something to rescue your hair when it’s looking oily, this product will be your hero.

JustFab Shoes

You can never have too many shoes, but don’t appreciate the outrageous prices commonly paired with trendy footwear, JustFab will be your best friend. When you become a new member on the site you can purchase any pair of sneakers, sandals, heels, booties, etc., for only $10! Being a bit skeptical of this incredible deal is valid, but the shoes are great quality and the buying process is super easy. Brief warning though: after you receive your shoes, you must remember to either cancel your membership or “skip” the month’s suggested products to avoid a hefty charge.

Green Smoothies

A fresh green juice is exactly what is needed to feel rejuvenated in the morning. A simple recipe to follow includes spinach, green apple, celery, cucumber, ginger and lemon juice.  Not only do these smoothies leave you feeling ready to conquer the day, but they are packed with nutrients and digestive health benefits. If you’re not in the mood for all that chopping and dish cleaning, Jamba Juice also has some great alternatives. Their Apple n’ Greens and Greens n’ Ginger smoothies are delicious and have easily won a spot in the February favorites.

These products have added immense revitalization to the quarantine days. Check them out and find your daily life just a little brighter.
