Azusa Pacific students danced the night away at GIG, the semi-formal spring semester dance hosted by Communiversity.

According to Communiversity, “GIG” stands for “guys invite girls” or “go in groups.” Since the theme of GIG this year was “space,” it was held at the California Science Center. Students explored the science exhibits and danced to a DJ under the Samuel Oschin Space Shuttle Endeavor Pavilion as well as a jazz band in the foyer.

There’s so much joy that I feel when the music is playing and containing that feeling is so difficult. I just have to dance,” sophomore Gian Timbol said. “It’s also great seeing everyone looking so happy and enjoying it.” Photo Courtesy of Micaela Ricaforte

“I think that being at a science museum really set the tone for that excitement because it’s so odd, but cool place to have a dance,” Timbol said. Photo Courtesy of Micaela Ricaforte
