There is so much going on daily that trying to do it all can be overwhelming. How do you plan for the future when you are simply trying to make it through assignment after assignment?

The answer: planning and time management. Those are the words for it all and they sound like a failure when you hear it at some points.

Truth is, you are not. Keeping it all together without a break is difficult. Even with mid-semester now in our rearview mirror, it can feel like the next five weeks are coming up even faster.

Take a break:

Yes, there may be a lot of assignments and a never-ending goal, but you will get there. Make sure to give yourself some TLC. It is necessary in order for you to make it through the next few weeks with flying colors.

You can do it. So whether it is going to the beach, hanging out with friends or simply watching a movie, step away from the computer and books for a bit and just relax.

Prioritize:

Make a list of what you need to do, in general. Then go back through and see what needs to be done at first and items that can be done later.

Make sure that some of the entries on your list are smaller (whether groceries or laundry) that you can even use as a quick break from the larger assignments.

Breathe:

When you begin to get overwhelmed or stressed, take a breather and enjoy the moment. There may be a million things running through your mind, but you can and will get through all of them.

Are you ready for the next few weeks? Are you setting yourself up for success? If you answered yes to both of those, then go and get it done. You can do it!
