Crumbl cookies have received over 2.4 billion views on TikTok alone and have accumulated over 3 million followers on Instagram. With a rotating menu, their customers want more. However, many have different opinions on social media’s most famous cookies. Get ready for an in-depth review of why Crumbl cookies are so famous.

Crumbl cookies originally opened in 2017, providing customers with only fresh milk chocolate chip cookies for takeout and delivery. Now, Crumbl has expanded its shops to over 300 bakeries in 36 states nationwide. More information on how the cookie shop began can be found on their website

The company grew tremendously via social media. Many celebrities and influencers can be seen giving honest reviews and showing video footage of Crumbl cookies. Many have also expressed that the price of their cookies is outrageous, considering that a pack can be over $15.

The main reason why Crumbl cookies blew up on TikTok, in particular, is because the brand offers a rotating menu of different flavors and introduced something never seen before known as “20 weeks of 20 new flavors” back in 2021. To this day, Crumbl cookies continue to go viral as they acquire customers through social media.

Some flavors that have made headlines on social media are the Classic Krispies Bar ft. Rice Krispies, Iced Oatmeal, Everything Bagel, French Toast, Strawberry Limeade ft. NERDS and more.

Are these cookies worth the hype? I was able to see for myself by trying some of Crumbl’s most popular flavors. When ordering from their menu, I purchased the 4-pack box for $16.25. In this box, I chose the Peanut Butter Crisp ft. Butterfinger, Chocolate Malt ft. Tootsie Roll, Original featuring M&M’s Candies, and Red Velvet White Chip, which was a mystery cookie with only two days left.

I began my taste test with the Peanut Butter Crisp ft. Butterfinger. This cookie definitely had a sweet taste, and the flavor of peanut butter truly overpowered this cookie. If you’re a peanut butter lover, this one’s for you. This cookie bursts with creamy peanut butter, melted chocolate, and crunchy Butterfinger pieces. This cookie reminded me of a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, and I gave it a 5/10 considering it was too peanut buttery for my taste.

Next up was the Chocolate Malt featuring Tootsie Roll. This cookie gave me a bit of uncertainty because it was mixed with a Tootsie Roll. A Tootsie Roll has a chocolate-flavored taffy taste, which is what this cookie tastes like. The flavors are well-mixed and taste like a sweet chocolate chip tootsie roll cookie. This cookie also features a drizzle of Tootsie Roll caramel and an unwrapped mini Tootsie Roll on top. I rate this cookie a 9/10.

The next cookie I tried was the M&M’s Candies cookie, which tastes exactly like a regular M&M cookie. However, this cookie is a bit thick and will definitely fill you up after a few bites. With that being said, I give this cookie a 7/10.

Lastly, I tried the mystery cookie — Red Velvet White Chip. If you’re a red velvet lover like myself, this is the cookie for you. It has a rich, red velvet taste and melts in your mouth. However, considering that it is a mystery cookie, it is only offered at select stores. Rounding out my ratings, I would give this cookie a 10/10.

As for prices, Crumbl cookies offers a variety of packs for their cookies. A single cookie is $5, a 4-pack box is $16.25, a 6-pack box is $25 and a party box is $42.50.

All in all, some flavors are a hit or miss. Their unique combinations and mixtures are exciting and, in my opinion, keep Crumbl cookie customers wanting to try more. Some of the cookies offered are very tasty, and all of Crumbl’s cookies are freshly-baked daily. More information on Crumbl cookies and their mystery cookies can be found on their Instagram
