1. Netflix

Break between classes? Time to Netflix and chill. Sitting on the couch watching Netflix reruns has a way of easing you into that bio lab you’ve got later tonight. It’s become an accomplishment to see how many episodes you can watch without getting up—it’s called binge-watching for a reason.

2. Disneyland

No matter how many times you go to Disneyland, the magic never fades. Whether you are nine or 90, you are always welcome at the Happiest Place on Earth.

3. Homemade Desserts

Homemade desserts do not only taste good, but they smell good too. Just whip up a fresh batch of brownies and your apartment is filled with that sweet, chocolatey aroma in no time. Favorites include cake, pie or mom’s super secret chocolate chip cookie recipe.

4. Beach Days

Watching the sunset after playing in the sand and letting the sun zap all your energy is most definitely considered a successful day. With days getting longer and the temperature become hotter, this only means more time to soak up that vitamin D in the Southern California sun.

5. Naps

Some people may start to think they are “too old” for naps, but eventually, we learn our lesson—and dream of the days naptime was a part of the class schedule.

6. Traveling

Whether you’re packing a suitcase, getting through security at the airport or waiting for hours until you make it to your destination, traveling is full of anticipation and incredible adventure. Whether it’s a semester studying in Oxford or the annual family camping trip, the exploration never ends.

7. Summertime

School is great and everything, but every year, without fail, college kids look forward to one thing: summer. No school and warm weather go well together, especially when you aren’t paying for utilities. You also can’t be mad about that fully stocked fridge—thanks mom and dad.

8. Pizza

Children’s birthday parties require it, college students survive on it and even adults can’t turn it down. No matter what age, pizza is amore.

9. Disney Channel Original Movies

With options like Hawaiian surfer turned snowboarder “Johnny Tsunami,” Hilary Duff rockin’ camo in “Cadet Kelly” or any of the cheetah-licious “Cheetah Girls” movies, Disney Channel Originals are just as nostalgically-good now as they were in elementary school.

10. Sweatpants

We need to give credit to the things that we slap on after a hectic day. Whether it’s strutting them at home or taking them on a quick trip to the Den, sweatpants rule. Even Netflixing isn’t the same without them.
