I love Halloween. I look forward to it all year long. I plan out my costume well in advance. October is my favorite month from loads of pumpkin spice, to Hocus Pocus, to scary movies, to dressing up for Halloween, to doing other fun fall activities. It all goes by too fast especially when dealing with matters of school. While everyone freaks out that Christmas is coming, I am still in “mourning,” missing Halloween on Thanksgiving and during the Christmas season. If you’re like me, here are some helpful tips and ideas you can keep in mind.

1. There are still plenty of scary movies and shows on Netflix to watch all year round.

Three words: American Horror Story

2. Pumpkin Spice food items are still available in many grocery stores, and the PSL is still available at Starbucks, so stock up.

3. You can spend time planning your Halloween costume for next year.

4. It’s “dead week,” treat yo self to lots of candy because you’ve earned it.

5. If you wanted to, go all out and decorate a Halloween-themed Christmas tree (because you can).

6. Post throwbacks of your best Halloween photos.

Feel free to reminisce. It was lit.

7. “Nightmare Before Christmas”

Watch the movie, and go to Haunted Mansion at Disneyland and see the ride with the added-in Nightmare Before Christmas decorations and plot line.

8. Go to Disneyland.

Speaking of all things Disneyland, not only is Disneyland is awesomely decorated during Halloween, but also during Christmas.

Halloween is amazing, and Christmas can be too!
