Last week, I went to Dog Haus in Pasadena after a long day at my internship. Not only was the price right, but the dogs, brats and sliders were some of the most delicious things I had ever eaten. Dog Haus has officially won Hunter’s Award For Hottest Dogs.

The atmosphere was fun, a little raucous, and loud. This is definitely not a place to go with a headache, but perfect for a bigger group of friends. There was also a larger-than-life Jenga set that patrons could play with during their meal.

I ordered a create-your-own brat, while my fiance ordered an off-the-menu hot dog, but the real treat was in the happy hour sliders. The sliders were just $1 each, so we got two to split. The sliders were on little Hawaiian sweet rolls, which made everything clearly better.

If transportation is a problem, don’t worry about it – just hop onto the 187 bus from around Azusa Pacific University and take it all the way to Lake Drive in Pasadena. Bus fare is only $1.25.

In this case, it’s definitely not a bad thing to be out in the Dog Haus for the night.
