Fall has arrived and with that it’s time for pictures to capture that distinct nostalgia-filled feeling.

Fall came quick which means it’s time to find the best places to take the classic and iconic fall pictures a large factor of the season. Here is a list of places to get the best shots.

The tried and true of all Instagram worthy pictures and classic fall activities is a pumpkin patch. This is a great location to get great pictures, your fill on fall vibes, apple ciderand best pumpkin pick to carve a face into.

There’s a patch not too far from here in West Covina, called Robles Pumpkin Patch. There’s also a fall festival that is currently going and one on October 31 for Halloween.

If pumpkins are not your first pick of the season, try apples. Oak Glen is a beautiful place for you to go and pick your own apples and take some very aesthetically pleasing fall pictures. There are fun activities there other than apple picking, like a petting zoo and live music.

While the idea of petting zoos havebeen placed in your mind, if you have a love for cows, a small road trip to the Gentle Barn might be your style. The Gentle Barn is a sanctuary and animal rehabilitation center where you can go hug animals. So if vegetables don’t fit what you have in mind for this fall, try cuddling animals. Who doesn’t want a picture of themselves hugging a cow?

If you love fall for the changing of the colors, and want more nature for your Instagram photos, definitely check out Lewis Falls. This 0.8 mile out and back trail leads to a beautiful waterfall, pair this with the crisp air and the chill in the breeze and you have a lovely fall adventure.

Feeling the change in the weather and being outdoors is the perfect signaling that it is a change of seasons, capturing that moment in a photograph is a perfect keepsake.

Another outdoor adventure for the nature people who don’t mind a bit of a drive, this would be a perfect time to see the Redwood forest. This national park is beautiful in the summer, but in the fall it encapsulates a moment of serenity, calm and wonder. Escape everyday life to disconnect and find peace in the moment where the Redwoods are infused with fall.

When we think about fall there are two possible ideas our minds go to; rom com, Gilmore Girls fall or Halloween spooky fall. If a spooky fall is more up your alley than the next ideas are for you.

Hot coffee and colder weather go perfectly together, but add a bit of scare to it and you get Horror Vibes Coffee. This shop does a different kind of brewing than witches and with different ingredients. From candy flavored coffee to fruity teas, you can get your fill of spooky and tasty.

If you still want horror and an activity head over to Knotts Scary Farm. The family friendly theme park has been switched to one out of nightmares. At the park you can go through mazes, shows, and spooky attractions for a night filled with scares, screams, and laughter. If you go, watch out for the monsters ready to jump out at you.

Whether you go hiking in a forest, sitting back in a chair drinking coffee, or going out to get the scare of your life, enjoy every second of fall. Savor the chilly weather, changing of the leaves, and the cycle of seasons.
