There is a multitude of different activities for you this fall. This season, you can look forward to pumpkin patches, horror nights at Universal Studios or events being held on APU’s campus.

Most think fall fun can only occur off-campus, but that isn’t so! APU has you covered. Kick off your campus fall events with the Cougars Tailgate: Soccer on Friday, Sept. 30 from 5-9 p.m. Come tailgate in between the APU Women’s and Men’s Soccer games against Concordia. Free registration is required.

On Friday, Oct. 14 from 5-7 p.m., plan to Walk-O-Taco! The Office of Campus Life would like you to take a break from studying and bring your friends out to get some exercise while enjoying yummy tacos. There’s nothing better than friends and tacos.

APU’s Department Of Theater Arts has made it their mission to make your fall fun with their presentation of the “Phantom of the Opera” from Oct. 6-22. General admission tickets are available for $27. And guess what? As a student, alumnus, senior citizen or military personnel, you can look forward to a discount! Make sure to call the Felix Event Center box office when purchasing tickets, or you can purchase tickets directly from APU’s website

Don’t let the thought of finals week loom over your semester. Remember, we are having an unforgettable fall, and finals week will not stop our mission. You can breathe easy as you mark your calendar for Midnight Breakfast on Dec. 11 in both the 1899 Dining Hall and the Upper Turner Campus Center. It’s an APU tradition that will give you the peace of mind you need to ace your finals. Grab a late-night breakfast, enjoy entertaining shows and even connect and study with professors starting at 8 p.m.

Not only is APU providing activities for students, but you can also take a little drive over to neighboring cities to experience some off-campus activities.

If you love Universal Studios and don’t scare easily, Halloween Horror Night may be the place for you and your friends to have a spooktacular time with a mixture of good food, fun rides, spooky characters and haunted houses. Pricing and savings for Universal Horror Nights vary depending on the date chosen. Tickets will be available until Oct. 31. However, you may want to book fast due to many dates selling out.

If you’re looking for a more laid-back and casual time, head over to Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch! At this iconic pumpkin patch, you can look forward to more than pumpkins: a giant rocking horse, a petting zoo and a maze are included in this experience.

Tickets for the Mr. Bones pumpkin patch will be available on Oct. 7 and sales end on Oct. 30. Not only will this pumpkin patch offer a lot of fun activities, but you can also look forward to amazing, Instagrammable moments with the endless photo opportunities. For more information on parking, activities and admissions, you can head on over to the Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch website.

Want to make your own fun activities at home or in your dorm while saving money? DIY is your friend. While fall decor and home activities may sound difficult, a simple yet satisfying DIY activity you can do at home is to paint your own farmhouse pumpkins.

It’s fun to do with the ones you cherish and it only requires a few products. Materials consist of acrylic paint, faux pumpkins, a paintbrush and baking powder. For more step-by-step tutorials on how to create your own DIY, head on over to the HGTV website.

Now that you have a clear event schedule, go make your fall unforgettable!
