The Office of Innovative Teaching and Technology hosted a pop up event on Wednesday, March 13 to promote the new learning management system (LMS), Canvas. Canvas will be replacing the current LMS, Sakai, starting over the summer and finishing up during next school year.

The pop up started before chapel and students filtered in and out continuing after chapel. Hundreds of students passed through and dozens participated in the activities that ITT had arranged.

These activities included painting small canvases, taking pictures of a giant fake Instagram cutout, a bean bag toss, and testing out Canvas on a couple laptops. Students were invited to download the Canvas app and then enter into a raffle to win a couple Amazon Fire Sticks and Amazon gift cards.

The Writing Center and Office of Veteran Affairs also had booths to talk to students at the pop up.
