All of the SAG winning artists got to see the result of their hard work at this award ceremony
The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards just happened January 21, where all of the diligent, ambitious and enthusiastic artists got to see their hard work.
I have always felt driven and excited to know about all of the award programs happening whenever the award season arrives, because of my heart and passion for the entertainment industry.
According to CBS News, this year’s SAG Awards was hosted by Kirsten Bell, who is the first female host of the SAG Awards in its history. The Lifetime Achievement Award and the Film and Television Award were but some of the areas of focus that were awards to selected actors and actresses.
There were plenty of fascinating and impressive awards that were given out to those actors and actresses who were passionate and dedicated in their films. Cast in a Motion Picture, Female Actor in a Leading role, Male Actor in a Leading role, Female Actor in a Supporting Role, Male Actor in a Supporting Role, and Stunt Ensemble in Motion Picture were the other wards given for outstanding performance.
In addition, in the television regard, there were also a lot of fabulous awards, most of them leaning towards comedy series.
The television program that I do know of and am very thrilled and happy to see that this television program win a SAG award, is ‘This Is Us’.
‘This Is Us’ won the SAG award for outstanding performance by an ensemble in drama series. I am really happy to discover that ‘This Is Us’ won this award, because from everything I have known and seen about this series, it stars one of my favorite actresses, Mandy Moore, who did such a beautiful job playing the antagonistic role of Lana Thomas in my all time favorite romantic comedy, ‘The Princess Diaries’.
Moore is also a fantastic and talented singer. She wrote, sang, and produced two beautiful and incredible songs. These songs were featured on both ‘The Princess Diaries’ and ‘Tangled’, which are ‘Crush’ and ‘I See The Light’.
In addition, not only am I happy for ‘This is Us’ to win because of starring Mandy Moore, I am also glad because of the messages that this series uncovers, the ideas of love, self-acceptance, joy, success, along with disappointment and failure.
This series uncovers these messages through the talented actors and actresses performing and expressing the ways they tackle all of these positive and negative changes that come into their lives, which I acknowledged to be incredibly inspiring and mesmerizing. I can confidently affirm that ‘This Is Us’ truly deserved this award, not only because of the amazing actors and actresses that they have, but also because of the inspiring messages that come out of it.
I do agree with the winners of this award, because even though I do not know them and their performing experiences well enough, I still did some research about their backgrounds and experiences.
I believe the actors and actresses that won awards truly deserved it, because of the years they have dedicated to performing and improving themselves as artists, and also because of the amount of movies and television programs that they were a part of.
I strongly believe that those artists who won really deserved it, because of the hard work and effort that they have devoted into their career as actors and performers throughout all those years, which is something that can never be taken lightly. I do agree with the winners, and I hope that they will use this award as a drive for them to be a source of inspiration for future artists, and also win more awards in the years to come.
