Anatomy Fashion Show surpasses last year’s contributions.
The second annual Anatomy Fashion Show drew in a crowd Friday, Nov. 3 in the Upper Turner Campus Center (UTCC). Hosted by APU’s Phi Delta Epsilon chapter, the philanthropic event raised funds and awareness for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and the chapter’s partner Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. The fashion show showcased human body systems and diseases, and featured informational poster boards about each system and disease. Food was also provided through sponsors, and Variety for One (VFO) performed a surprise dance routine.
President of APU’s Phi Delta Epsilon, Abel de Castro hoped to surpass last year’s total revenue of $3,400. Through ticket revenues and raffle tickets during the showcase, the chapter was able to raise over $4,000.
