One of the beautiful things about Scripture is how it inclusively applies to everyone. No matter who you are, or what state your heart or mind is in, Scripture is meant for you. Some Bible verses feel almost like letters from God, written to help us through every stage of life.

A letter from God….

When you’re doubting:

Romans 8:28

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

When life is hectic:

Psalm 46:10

“He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth’.”

When you need strength:

Philippians 4:13

“I can do all things through him who gives me strength.”

When you need courage:

Deuteronomy 31:6

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

When you don’t understand God:

Ecclesiastes 3:11

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He also has set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”

When you’re hopeless:

Jeremiah 29:11

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.’”

When life isn’t going as planned:

John 13:7

“Jesus replied, ‘You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.’”

When you have an “attitude problem”:

1 Corinthians 16:14

“Do everything in love.”

When you are afraid:

Isaiah 41:10

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

When life is good:

1 Chronicles 16:34

“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.”

Wherever you’re at in your walk with God, and wherever you’re at in this journey of life, the Bible never fails to be full of verses that can speak into your situation. Reminders of God’s faithfulness, strength and goodness are always relevant and always present (all verses New International Version Bible).
