Empowerment is about what makes you feel strong, what makes you feel capable and what makes you feel powerful. What someone finds empowering depends solely on the person themselves and is not for society to decide. Different things empower different people, and allowing them to feel strong and authentic in the way they choose is what makes this country so profound. Let the empowered define empowerment.
