For the past few months, I have been going to several concerts. From smaller shows to larger shows, I have seen it all. I went to see English alternative rock band The 1975 in San Diego on Saturday, October 15th. The 1975 is known for being very aesthetically pleasing from their music videos, album covers, to their concerts.

The lighting and set design during their concert was amazing. Each song had a different set background, which added a lot of variety to the show.

The contrast between the color and black background was very intriguing.

These city backgrounds were probably my two favorite sets out of the entire show.

I would highly recommend listening to The 1975 if you have not. They have been around for a few years. Listen to their self-titled album “The 1975” (2013) and their latest album “I Like it When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It” (2016).

On Tuesday, October 18th I saw Australian singer, Troye Sivan, at the Hollywood Palladium. I was able to see two of my favorite musicians within a few days. It was a great week!

Troye Sivan also had a lot of colorful set backgrounds at his show. He is another aesthetically pleasing artist with his album cover and music videos.

Each set for each song had different colors, most ranging in shades of purple and blue. These colors really complement his debut album “Blue Neighbourhood” (2015).

I would also recommend listening to Troye Sivan if you have not listened to his music. Check out his first album, which I mentioned above.
