Cougar baseball is continuing its winning ways. The team is 16-5 and 6-3 in the PacWest after winning series against Academy of Art and Point Loma.
The Cougars lost the opener against defending NCCAA national champions Fresno Pacific, but will look to continue their hot play this weekend. The team is led offensively by juniors Daniel Martin (.444 avg) and Senior Jordan Brower (.416 avg), who was recently named the hitter of the week nationally by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
Azusa Pacific has been getting it done on the mound as well. Four pitchers combined for a no-hitter against Point Loma on March 6.
