This past weekend I went and saw the movie Kingsmen: The Secret Service, directed by Matthew Vaughn. I had seen previews for the movie and like the actor Colin Firth, who has a leading role in the film as the character Harry Hart, but still had no idea what I was going to go watch.
I can honestly say it was by far one of the strangest but most entertaining movies I’ve yet to see. It is filled with action, comedic relief and a lot violence but done in a not so serious manner.
Spoiler alert: There is a point in the movie where people’s heads pop off resulting in explosions of fireworks from their heads.
If you’re someone who enjoys British accents, puppies, random events and action I highly suggest seeing this movie as a break from the stresses of middle of the semester blues.
