Located a little way from APU’s campus, this dessert parlor in West Covina is not your typical ice cream joint.

Famous for its homemade ice bars, this ice cream bar has innovated favorites into five unique pops, including Nutella Bananas & Cream, Mango Strawberry, Milk Green Tea, Korean Pear Blueberry, and Strawberry Lemonade. You can try these pops plain, with house toppings or by customizing the toppings to create your own experience.

As a green-tea lover myself, I opted for the Milk Green Tea pop with vanilla bean gel, red bean brittle, green tea powder, milk powder and fresh mochi. Not only did it taste good, it also looked pretty. Each pop is handled like a work of art by the chefs, making this unique pop experience taste even better.

If you want to try out a new ice cream place and do not want to hurt your wallet, try The Ice Bar. A customized pop or a pop with house toppings only costs $3.25. Happy venturing!
