If you’re like me, needing some deco in your apartment to feel a little more at home, try some pictures. I’ve been a little homesick lately and I can’t go home anytime due to my crazy school and work schedule, like a lot of students here on campus. My apartment is pretty simple, not much deco, just your basic necessities and well, plain doesn’t help my situation at all. While making my observation of how plain my room is, I strolled through my Instagram pictures and then it hit me. PICTURES! Pictures make a difference in one’s living area, so I grabbed my things and headed over to our local Target.

Target has a picture self-use station right next to customer service and it’s pretty easy to use and fast. I went through the screen and connected to the station’s Wi-Fi. After I connected, I paged through my photo album and picked out a picture that I wanted to have in my room. After I picked out my picture, I transferred the image over to the photo kiosk with the Kodak smartphone app, which is free. Once my image loaded on the screen, options for sizes and so forth prompted. I went with the size 4×6 to make sure it would fit my picture frame. One copy at that size was only a few cents.

After that, I had my image printed while I went to go shopping around Target, because I mean, who wouldn’t? My picture didn’t take long to be done and it only cost me a dollar and some change with tax and all. As soon as I got home, I made sure to put the picture in my frame, and it made a difference to have a picture in my room to remind me of home. I am sure I will be going back to print some more pictures. Next time you’re feeling a little homesick or just want some kind of deco in your room, go print out some pictures.
