Both Starbucks and Classic Coffee are always crowded. Since some days I just want to be off campus, I went with a friend to study at Classic Coffee. Unfortunately, my bad memory made me unable to remember the address. Instead of searching for it, we stopped at a coffee shop my friend spotted—Café X2O. It is now our favorite place to go.
The atmosphere was inviting the minute we walked in. There were plenty of places to sit and places to plug in our laptops. The playlist was not the typical coffee shop playlist. It varied each time we went but we were never disappointed. The employees were very nice, down-to-earth and can make great cappuccino art.
Another time I went, I was impressed with the garlic chicken sandwich I ordered. That same time I was with my roommate and she loves pistachio flavored ice cream. Lucky for her, they serve gelato and had pistachio flavor.
Out of all the visits I have made these few months, I personally like the hot and iced vanilla chai tea latte and the strawberry Italian soda. There are so many other options I think I have to plan a few more trips, good things it’s off Grand Ave and finals are just around the corner.
