Today is the last day of voting for the 2020 Presidential Election. Both candidates are looking to garner 270 of the 538 electoral votes up for grabs. With swing states, secured states and tension rising throughout the country, the two candidates sit by as the race for the White House comes to an end.

Electoral College

6:05 p.m. PST –  Trump trails with 48 electoral votes; Biden leads with 73 electoral votes.

6:16 p.m. PST – Trump continues to trail with 51 electoral votes; Biden leads with 80  electoral votes.

6:33 p.m. PST – Trump continues to trail with 72 electoral votes; Biden leads with 89 electoral votes.

7:25 p.m. PST – Trump lessens Biden’s lead to 89 to 80.

7:47 p.m. PST – The lead has been moving back and forth, but is currently still with Biden 113 to 105.

7:57 p.m. PST – Joe Biden currently holds the lead 113 to 108.

8:05 p.m. PST – Joe Biden significantly widened his electoral lead over the current president to 187 to 114.

8:58 p.m. PST – Joe Biden had held his leading over the incumbent now standing at 192 to 118. It is important to note that neither Texas nor Florida, both leaning in President Trump’s favor, have been added to this count.

9:12 p.m. PST – Joe Biden has continued his lead over President Trump and the current state of the race is 205 to 136.

9:43 p.m. PST – President Trump has shortened the former vice president’s lead to just 205 to 165.

9:57 p.m. PST – President Trump has slightly shortened the former vice president’s lead to just 205 to 171.

10:19 p.m. PST – The President and Joe Biden are officially tied at 209 electoral votes.

10:23 p.m. PST – President Trump has officially taken the lead in the electoral college at 212 to 209 votes.

10:31 p.m. PST – President Trump has held his lead at 213 to 210.

10:40 p.m. PST – President Trump has lost his lead to Biden with an electoral count of 220 to 213.

10: 22 a.m. PST – Joe Biden has held his lead against the President with the electoral count standing at 227 to 213.

12: 22 a.m. PST – Joe Biden has held his lead against the President with the electoral count standing at 237 to 213.

1:50 p.m. PST – The electoral college currently stands at 253 to 214 in favor of Joe Biden.

Popular Vote

6:08 p.m. PST – Trump has 20,769,687 votes; Biden has 19,793,148. Trump leads by 2.4%.

6:16 p.m. PST – Trump has 23,238,372 votes; Biden has 22,132,550. Trump leads by 2.5%.

7:45 p.m. PST – Trump has 41,019,837 votes; Biden has 38,255,614. Trump still leads by 2.5%.

9:15 p.m. PST – Biden has taken the lead in the popular vote with 58,519,037 over Trump’s 57,342,368 vote. Biden now has a roughly 1% lead.

10:32 p.m. PST – Biden has held his lead in the popular vote with 63,197,188 to Trump’s 61,805,611 votes. This is a lead of about 1.2%.

10:23 a.m. PST – Biden has continued his lead in the popular vote which now stands at 69,453,553 to 66,547,083.

States

4:00 p.m. PST – Indiana has been called to President Trump: 63.9% to 33.9%. Trump earned 11 electoral votes.

4:36 p.m. PST – Trump has 49% of Florida’s vote and Biden has 50%. Florida is serving as a critical swing state in tonight’s election.

4:48 p.m. PST – Vermont has been called to Joe Biden: 62.5% to 34.6%. Biden earned three electoral votes.

5:09 p.m. PST – Kentucky has been called to President Trump: 65.1% to 33.3%. Trump earned 8 electoral votes.

5:22 p.m. PST – West Virginia has been called to President Trump: 57.2% to 41.1%. Trump earned five electoral votes.

5:36 p.m. PST – Delaware has been called to Joe Biden: 79.4% to 19.4%. Biden earned three electoral votes.

6:00 p.m. PST – Tennessee has been called to President Trump: 61.7% to 36.6%. Trump earned 11 electoral votes.

6:15 p.m. PST – Connecticut has been called in favor of Joe Biden: 63% to 35%. This earns Biden 7 electoral votes.

6:20 p.m. PST – South Dakota has been called in favor of President Trump: 68.1% to 29.5%. This earns the president three electoral votes.

6:30 p.m. PST – Colorado has been called for Joe Biden: 60% to 38%, adding 9 electoral votes for Joe Biden.

6:30 p.m. PST – North Carolina has been called for President Trump 48.4% to 48.1%. This gives the president three more electoral votes.

7:20 p.m. PST – Louisiana has been called for President Trump 63.8% to 34.6%. This gives the president eight more electoral votes.

7:28 p.m. PST – New Hampshire has been called for former Vice President Biden 53.8% to 44.8%. This gives the former vice president four more electoral votes.

7:38 p.m. PST – Here are a few states that we missed in our reporting early on, but are the most recent states called:

For Trump – Arkansas (6), Nebraska (3 of 5), Oklahoma (7), South Carolina (9), Alabama (9), North Dakota (3) and Mississippi(6).

For Biden – Massachusetts (11), New Jersey (14) , New York (29) and Maryland (10).

7:43 p.m. PST – Kansas, Missouri, and Utah have been called for President Trump. This has earned him six, ten, and six electoral votes respectively.

7:45 p.m. PST – Illinois has been called for Joe Biden, adding 20 electoral votes to his lead.

7:55 p.m. PST – Wyoming has been called for President Trump, adding three votes to his total count.

8:04 p.m. PST – California, Oregon and Washington have all been called for Joe Biden. This has added 55, 7, and 12 votes for the former vice president.

8:55 p.m. PST – New Mexico has been called for Joe Biden, adding five votes to his total count.

8:57 p.m. PST – Idaho has been called for President Trump, adding four votes to his total count.

9:07 p.m. PST – The battleground state of Ohio has been called for President Trump, giving him 18 additional votes.

9:09 p.m. PST – Virginia has been called for Joe Biden, adding 13 electoral votes to his lead.

9:45 p.m. PST – Florida has been called for President Trump, adding 29 electoral votes to his lead.

9:56 p.m. PST – Iowa has been called for President Trump, adding six electoral votes for the president.

10:16 p.m. PST – Texas and Montana have been called for President Trump, adding another 38 and three electoral votes for the president.

10:20 p.m. PST – Rhode Island has been called for Joe Biden, giving him an additional four votes.

10:29 p.m. PST – Nebraska’s two congressional districts have been split between the candidates, adding one vote to each candidates vote count.

10:38 p.m.PST – Minnesota has now been called for Biden. This state gives Joe Biden 10 more electoral votes.

10:20 a.m. PST – Hawaii and Maine have both been called for Joe Biden. This has given Biden four and three more electoral votes, respectively.

12:04 p.m. PST – The battleground state of Wisconsin has been called for Joe Biden, providing him with ten additional votes.

1:45 p.m. PST – Michigan’s 16 electoral votes have officially been called to Joe Biden.

It is important to note at this time that the Trump campaign has called for a recount in Wisconsin and has outstanding lawsuits in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Current predictions show that Arizona, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin are going to be important states to look out for.
